Artwork by Ron & Diann Corbin

August 25 – September 28, 2023

The Anne P. Baker Gallery presents “Artwork by Ron and Diann Corbin,” an exhibit of more than one hundred pieces of stained-glass art and woodwork items created by the couple. These works will be on display from August 25 to September 28, 2023. The community is invited to an artists’ reception on Thursday, September 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Ron and Diann Corbin are high school sweethearts who have been married for 51 years. They have two children and three grandchildren. Over the years, both have enjoyed creative hobbies including painting, woodwork, and pottery. They began their journey with glasswork on their 25th wedding anniversary. Since that time, both Ron and Diann have expanded their skills in several aspects of glasswork and shared this knowledge by teaching stained glass classes through Community Education for 14 years. They look forward to continuing to create unique glasswork pieces and sharing their talents for many years to come.

This exhibit includes stained glass panels and lampshades, mantel clocks, and a collection of ornaments and pendants, many of which are available for purchase.

The Anne P. Baker Gallery is located inside the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts on the campus of Madisonville Community College. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended hours on Glema Center event days. For this exhibit those dates with extended hours will include September 7, September 19, and September 22. Gallery admission is free.
