With a variety of opportunities including workshops, School Days Matinees, artist residencies, classical and contemporary concerts, Summer Arts Academy, art exhibits in the Anne P. Baker Gallery, and more, there are numerous ways to incorporate the Glema Center into classroom learning, home learning, and continuing education and inspiration for all ages.

Here’s a look at a few of these events that occurred during the 2023-24 Season.

Lexington Children’s Theatre presented four productions throughout the school year as part of the School Days Matinees series, including Cows Don’t Fly and Other Known Facts in April 2024.

The Eykamp String Quartet completed a residency in April 2024, which included presentations at every public elementary school in Hopkins County Schools and a Chamber Music Series concert at the Glema Center.
