PJ Woodside has been involved in the arts her whole life in one way or another.  She received an MA in English from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an MFA in fiction writing from George Mason University.  After moving to Madisonville with her husband, Jude Roy, she pursued a former interest in theatre through the Glema Center's developing community theatre program.  She has been involved in most of the productions here over the last three years, and directed the Summer Arts Academies in 2008.  Her directing interests have evolved to include regional movie-making and video.

PJ accepted the position of Arts Education Coordinator in January 2008.  She assists in developing arts programs at the center which serve school-aged students in Hopkins and surrounding counties.
