South Pacific Auditions and Rehearsals

Check our event page on Facebook for updates about auditions and rehearsals for the Glema Center's summer musical, South Pacific. Information can be posted and exchanged on the Event wall.

Here's a link to the page: South Pacific Auditions and Rehearsals

The auditions for the Glema Center's summer musical, South Pacific, will take place the evenings of May 24th and May 25th. The first night, 5/24, auditions will be in the multi-purpose room of the John H. Gray building on the MCC campus (next door to the Glema Center, lowest level). Auditions on 5/25 will take place on the stage of the Glema Center.

Auditions for both nights will begin at 6:30.

NEW INFO:
Anyone is welcome to audition. Though some of the characters are Polynesian, casting will be based on personality and ability, and not on appearance.

There are two children's roles. Children under 12 will be auditioned first (at 6:30) on both nights.

There are many roles for adults (those who appear age 20 and up).

All who audition should dress comfortably. You will be asked to sing as part of the process. If you bring something prepared, sheet music is preferred to CD (piano accompaniment will be provided).

All interested parties should come with an idea of their work/vacation schedules during the months of June and July for purposes of setting rehearsals.
