    Dear Brad:
I went to the Glema Mahr to view the art entries last week and the doors were locked at 1:10 that day. No one outside knew why the doors were not open and when I returned home, I tried to contact the Glema Mahr but never got a response. I called, left a message and I also e-mailed a Lynn Curtis but never got a reply.

What hours are you open? I thought the hours were from 9 to 4.

    Thanks,

    Lynn M. Smith
    Dixon, Ky.

Lynn, The entire staff was at a two day professional development workshop in Louisville. I guess we forgot to put up the signs! Sorry! Also, I did post this response on Lynn’s comment page , as well. When you comment, it contacts me as page administrator, but not the staff. To email a staff person just click on their email link.

I think AMERICA would be a great band to come the Glema center, they have been I Paducah at the carson center, and skypac in the last year and still have a huge fan base. they put on a fantastic show, and have been to Ky many times during their career.I think you should consider them when you plan the next season. I was at both shows in Paducah and Bowling Green and they were sold out.

  8. Brad Downall says:

David, Thanks for the recommendation! The committee has considered them before. I will add their name to the list for consideration. There are a lot of variables in play including routing, artist fee, and a good balance of shows in our season but we will give them a look!
